This first step allows us to understand your story and guide you towards a session experience that feels most natural for you and your family.

Once your session is confirmed, we’ll walk you through the details gently. From studio timings and styling guidance to preparing little ones for the session, every detail is thoughtfully considered to help you feel comfortable and at ease.

We believe the most meaningful photographs come from feeling relaxed, present, and truly yourself.

On the day itself, the experience is kept warm, natural, and lightly guided. Rather than focusing on perfect poses, we create space for genuine interactions, movement, and connection to unfold naturally.

The little in-between moments often become the ones families treasure most.

    Headspace allocates 1.5h for the shoot (most studios only do 1h) and that extra time took so much pressure off. It gave all of us more than enough time to settle and have fun. The studio was full of natural light, with lots of space for the kids to crawl and run around.

    When we were busy washing up the baby (completely covered in cake!), Charlotte kept our older child entertained. She is such a natural with kids - mine loved her!

  • Yes, we do. We have an in-house photographer and offer a range of photography services, including maternity, newborn, milestone and family sessions.

    If you'd like to learn more, simply let us know what you're looking for and we'll be happy to recommend a suitable package for you.

  • Our photography style leans towards a docu-editorial approach — a blend of natural storytelling and gentle direction.

    Rather than heavily posed images, we focus on capturing genuine interactions, emotions, and the little moments that unfold naturally between you and your loved ones. Throughout the session, we'll guide you with simple prompts and posing where needed, ensuring you feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera.

    The result is a collection of timeless images that feel authentic, personal, and uniquely yours.

  • Anything neutral-coloured is always a great choice for our studio, especially shades like white, cream, beige, and black. Pastel tones photograph beautifully as well and add a soft touch to your images.

    More importantly, we recommend coordinating colours and styles as a family rather than matching exactly. As long as everyone's outfits complement one another, your photos will look cohesive, timeless, and natural on camera.

    If you're unsure, we're always happy to provide guidance before your session.

  • Our Journey Package is designed to document your family's story from pregnancy through your baby's first year.

    The package includes 3 photoshoot sessions:
    • 1 x Maternity Session
    • 2 x Basic Milestone Sessions

    You may choose the milestones that matter most to you. A common journey would be:

    I. Maternity
    II. Newborn / 100 Days / 6 Months
    III. 1st Birthday

    Alternatively, you're welcome to customise the milestone sessions based on your family's preferences and timeline. This package allows us to capture and preserve each meaningful chapter as your little one grows.

  • Our photography packages do not include raw or unedited images. Each package includes a curated selection of professionally edited images, based on the number stated within your chosen package.

    Should you wish to receive more images beyond those included, additional edited images are available for purchase.

  • We carefully curate and edit a selection of images based on the number included in your chosen package. As such, only the stipulated number of edited images will be delivered at the end of your session.

    If there are additional images from the gallery that you'd love to keep, you will have the option to purchase extra edited images after viewing your proofs.

  • Image selection is handled by our team. Each session typically generates between 2,000–3,000 photographs, and the culling process involves carefully reviewing every image to identify the strongest moments from your session.

    When making our selections, we take into consideration factors such as expressions, composition, and how everyone looks in each frame. We also prioritise images that capture meaningful interactions and moments that feel especially unique to your family.

    If you'd like more images beyond those included in your package, additional edited images will be available for purchase after you've viewed your gallery.

  • While our studio is not officially pet-friendly, we're happy to accommodate well-trained pets on a case-by-case basis.

    As long as your pet is comfortable in new environments and there is someone dedicated to looking after him or her throughout the session, we'd be delighted to have your furry family member be part of the photoshoot.
